Historical Preservation of Military Heritage
The following organizations and projects reflect the Tawani Foundation’s support of information networks and facilities for students, scholars and the general public that are dedicated to a better understanding of the service by and the role of the Citizen Soldier in our society.
Health and Wellness
The Foundation supports not for profit organizations committed to projects providing access to public spaces and services that enhance and improve quality of life.
Conservation & Preservation of Historic Sites
The Foundation supports projects that preserve and enhance historic sites.
Award Programs
Tawani Foundation, in striving to honor and support the contributions of the Citizen Soldier to a free Society, provides three categories of awards. These awards celebrate an author whose first published work of fiction or non-fiction has made a major contribution to the understanding of military history and a living author who is recognized for a body of work over time dedicated to enriching the understanding of American military history; and a JROTC and ROTC Cadet Award for Military Excellence program.
Landmark Gifts
The Tawani Foundation Landmark Gifts and Grants program supports individuals, organizations and educational institutions that affect significant positive change and transformation. Letters of Inquiry are not accepted for this area of funding.
