Tawani Foundation,  for the remainder of 2010, will be assessing our past, present and future giving for impact and outcomes in the pursuit of the vision of affecting significant transformation of organizations and educational programs that enrich knowledge, preserve military heritage, improve health and wellness and conserve unique sites for enduring positive impact on individuals, communities and societies.

We invite you to learn more, through the highlight segment on the site, about a few of the over 170 organizations, that we are honored to stand beside and support in their missions dedicated to preserving the past and conserving treasured resources in order that we may strive for a better future.

Tawani Foundation awards grants to 501 (c)(3) organizations according to the objectives of specified program areas. The Foundation favors collaborative projects that benefit similar not-for-profit partners and organizations committed to the areas of historical preservation, the advancement of technology, or other unique opportunities that serve the public.

Key Foundation Initiatives
  • HISTORICAL PRESERVATION OF MILITARY HERITAGE
    The Foundation funds organizations of specific projects that provide information networks and facilities to students, scholars and the general public dedicated to a better understanding of the service by and the role of the citizen soldier in our society.
  • HEATH AND WELLNESS PROJECTS
    The Foundation supports not for profit organizations committed to projects providing access to public spaces and services that enhance and improve quality of life.
  • CONSERVATION & PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC SITES
    The Foundation supports projects that preserve and enhance historic sites.
  • LANDMARK GRANTS
    The Tawani Foundation Landmark Gifts and Grants program supports, orgranizations and educational institutions. Letters of inquiry are not accepted for the Landmark Gifts and Grants program.
  • CADET ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
    2010 JROTC/ROTC Award Program is CLOSED. LOI's are not currently being accepted. Please email questions to info@tawanifoundation.net
    The Foundation provides cadet awards for JROTC and ROTC units and supports programs that reward, study and document the promotion of the citizen soldier ideal and military service.
Who We Support
  • The Tawani Foundation accepts Letter of Inquiry from 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organizations whose requests fall within the guidelines for our program areas. Unsolicited proposals are not accepted and unsolicited materials cannot be acknowledged or returned.

    • Legislative lobbying to influence legislation or elections
