2010 Highlights
- The 5th edition Chicagoland Bike Map provides more routing information than ever before. It includes on-street and trail information for the entire seven-county Chicagoland region.
- The updated map is the result of more than 100 volunteers’ work to scan and survey the entire region. This map is made for bicyclists by bicyclists
- The 5th edition Chicagoland Bike Map covers more area than ever before. It reaches into Wisconsin and goes all the way south into Grundy County
The Tawani Foundation’s support allowed us to produce a valuable tool for the bicycling community. The 5th edition Chicagoland Bike Map provides bike route information for the entire seven county region. It allows bicyclists of all types to explore new adventures and rediscover their own community. The support that the Tawani Foundation provided shows its commitment bicycling as a form of recreation and transportation, something that is becoming increasingly important to creating livable communities.
